Full House poker hand

A Full House is one step down from 4 of a Kind and one up from a Flush.
Cards to make a Full House: 7, 7, 7, 2, 2 (3 cards of one value (3 of a kind) and 2 of another (a Pair)). If more than 1 person makes a Full House then it's the highest value Full House that wins. So a Full House of 9, 9, 9, 2, 2 would beat a full house of 2, 2, 2, J, J

In the situation that 2 players have the same three of a Kind part of their Full House (if a community card(s) are making up the hand) then to decide the winner will be the player that has the highest ranking Pair.

When you are naming your Full House it is often done by naming the "3 of a Kind" full of "the Pair", so in the instance you have 7, 7, 7, 2, 2 this would be known as "Sevens full of twos".

A Full House is also known as a "Full Boat" or a "Boat".

The odds of making a Full House are 693 : 1
